Proceeds benefit KND Peer to Peer Support Program.- Thank you to everyone that helped, participated and shopped at the PTO Arts and Crafts Sale! It was a huge success and the vendors have asked to do it again! -KND PTOSPORTS : – Sports pictures begin today at 1:30. Make sure you have ALL parts to ALL of your uniforms. Many are dual sports so please be prepared! – Softball 1:30- Softball Field (Possibly 1 PM. Go Get Em’ Laker Cats!!- Mark two wins for the Bobcats Baseball team, 16-2 and 15-0; both mercy wins. – Pitching credits go to Adrian, Skylar and Tyler. In game one EVERY player crossed the plate to score in the first inning! Top hitting credits go to: Gavin 2/3, Hunter and Ian were 2/4 and Jake was 3/4. Gavin, Hunter ,Jake and Adrian all earned 2 RBIs. In game two: Jalen was 2/3, Gavin and Hunter went 3 for 4 with Gavin earning 4 RBIs and Hunter 3 RBIs on two doubles and a single. Jake was 4 for 4 with 2 triples, a double and a single earning 5 RBIs. Great team effort boys! (side note: it was awesome to hear the victory bell ringing last night LakerCats:)- Baseball practice is after school tonight. Dual athletes need to attend when done with track practice.- Softball players only travel to Marion today. – Current 6-11 graders interested in boys basketball. We will have a meeting Wednesday, during lunch to discuss summer basketball. – Coach Riggs has this year’s baseball hats for sale, $15 each. – Sports physicals at the school on May 16 starting at 3 pm. The cost is $25. The school gets a portion of the money from the hospital. MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: – NHS meeting tomorrow during lunch for current members. – NHS candidates–your application have been received and the committee will be reviewing them within the next week. – Last call to take your puzzle piece! – Seniors who have completed their FAFSA will be having a pizza party at lunch Today.
