Track had a good night despite the weather! On the boys side Jerry Cain set a new PR in shot put and discus. George Phillips set a PR in discus. And the boys 4×100 Geroge Phillips, Seth Cracraft, Kaito Nitta and Waylon Hicks took 2nd. On the girls side: Abby Kissling took first in all 4 of her events; 100, 200, long jump and a PR in the 400. Kierston Scholl with a PR in the 100m hurdles, Maddy Biller and Adele Bennett threw for a PR in shot put. The 4×200 relay team of Adele Bennett, Autumn Harris, Samantha Hiller and Kimmy Schneider took 2nd. The 4×400 team of Mackenna Wardie, Olivia Sexton, Kierston Scholl, Alice Amstutz took 2nd. The 4×800 team of Natalie Myers, Chloe Tracy, Mackenna Wardie and Kierston Scholl took 2nd.

Paige Gutowski earned our District MEA Scholarship last night. It was tough competition with 9 very talented and dedicated students from other schools, and 3 different counties. Congratulations Paige, your KND family is very proud of you. –
NAHS we will meet today. We have a lot of upcoming events to plan for, please make every effort to attend the meeting. –
A huge congratulations to Arizona Dunham, whose artwork, along with her classmates Skylar Laufenberg and Ava Hermann had their artwork selected as part of the top 100 middle school art pieces in Michigan. Arizona received a second honor this week, when her art piece was selected to be in a yearlong art exhibit at the Michigan Department of Education in Lansing. This is a high honor and very competitive. Way to go Arizona! –
Prom tickets will be on sale during breakfast and lunch for the next two weeks. $20 each –
Literacy Club will meet Friday during lunch in Mrs. Veith’s room.
