HUGE congrats to Abby and Maddy on qualifying for the State Finals! In shot put, Maddy threw a 7 inch PR in order to take 4th with an automatic qualifying throw of 31′ 6.5″. In long jump, Abby broke her own school record by 3 inches to take 1st with a jump of 15′ 9″. The two of them will head to Grand Rapids on June 4th to compete with the best in the State. –
Also medaling on the day were: Lucas in the 110 and 300 hurdles; the boys 4×200 of Lucas, Gavin, Nick, and Bryce; Abby in the 100 and 200; the girls 4×100 of Autumn, Sam, Alice, and Brooklyn, Maddy in discus, Stella in high jump; and the girls 4×400 of Autumn, Olivia, Brooklyn, and Stella. The coaches were extremely impressed with the fight many of our athletes showed on Saturday! –
Baseball – Bus loads at 1:45 and leaves at 2:00. Baseball dismisses at 1:30. –
Soccer – Bus loads at 2:15 and leaves at 2:30.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

Any student in grades 8-11 wishing to run for class officer or student representative, needs to have a nomination form filled out and returned to Mr Amstutz by Friday May 27. –
NHS meeting Wednesday during lunch. Current members and inductees should attend.
