SPORTS:

Great job to the cross country team this weekend in Shepherd! Abby, Ashlynn, and Autumn all ran strong races, including a new high school best from Autumn! The high school team’s next race is Regionals this Saturday in Benzie, and the MS team’s last race is tomorrow in MCE. –
Congrats to the varsity football team on their shutout against Onekama. 54-0! Good job, guys! –
Also, equipment turn-in will be today right after school. –
Sports pictures for MS Football, MS Cheer, and HS Cheer on Friday. If you need a picture form they are on the table by Mr. Kemler’s room. –
We are hosting elementary basketball this weekend. If you are interested in helping out please see Mr. Kemler. Need two people to run the clock in each gym and someone to work the gate. –
Girls’ JV and Varsity basketball begins on Nov. 8th. Make sure you have a physical on file!
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

NMU will have a virtual visit at 12:20. Sign up with Mr. Randall. –
The NHS food drive starts today! Please bring items to your 4th hour class. NHS members will be around to collect and count your items daily. The 4th hour with the most points wins an ice cream sundae party! –
NHS members–please check in with Mrs. Amstutz if you don’t remember which classes you are responsible for. We will have a meeting on Wednesday. –
HS student council meeting is Tuesday during lunch.

The Eastern European trip is off and running. So far we have 10 travelers signed up. There is still time for you to sign up and receive the best deal. Travelers who enroll by Oct 31 will receive $200 off the total price. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Mobley if you have further questions. –
Attention middle and high school students. The National Art Honor Society will be hosting a costume contest during the assembly on Friday. Like in elementary school, you bring your costume to change into at lunch and judging will take place during the assembly. The cost to enter is $1 per person and the money goes directly towards prizes. Only those who are paid can be judged. Categories are posted on posters around the school for more information. –
High School yearbooks are on sale now. The best price of the school year with an offer of free icons expires on November 15. Seniors Buy Early for the best deal.
