Kaleva Crusaders Relay for Life team is holding their Annual Fall Soup Luncheon on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11-1:30 p.m. It is at the Kaleva Lions Club. The cost is a donation. If you are in Kaleva on Saturday please stop in.
SPORTS :

JV/V Volleyball have a tri meet here Monday for lots of Volleyball action AND Senior Night. –
Our Varsity Football team faces Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart on Saturday at 4:00 on Mt. Pleasant High School’s field. –
MS Basketball practice starts today after school. –
Competitive Ski Sign Up sheet is in the office. See sheet for details.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

Fancloth sports clothing is in. Please see Mr. Kemler for your order. –
College Ambassadors have a meeting today directly after school. We will be meeting in the library, we will be meeting at 3:15. –
Josten’s will be here TOMORROW, October 22nd, to explain class ring orders to Sophomores and announcements/caps and gowns to Seniors. Sophomores will meet at 8:20 in room 139. Seniors will meet at High School lunch. –
*Reminder: any who has a Josten’s ring that needs repaired or resized, bring it tomorrow* . –
HS Quiz Bowl practice is tomorrow at 7:30am. –
Don’t forget to continue to meet with Ms. Jazz and participate in the weekly activities. Oct. 31st there will be a carnival during the day to celebrate the senior class. More information will be given about that throughout the week. This is also another opportunity for seniors to earn more tickets to go towards winning the iPad mini. –
There will be a campus visit to Northwood University on November 6th. There will be a sign up on the counseling door sometime this week. –
There will also be a FAFSA completion night on Nov. 7th from 3:30-7pm at the Manistee County ISD. –
The NHS Make a Difference Day food drive is off to a great start! In the ms/hs Mrs. Mobley’s class is in the lead with 70 points already! Mr. Wojo’s class is in 2nd place with 45 points, and Mrs. Rackow’s class is in 3rd place with 40 points. The 1st hour with the most points shall receive a pancake breakfast!

ELEMENTARY:

Attention grades K-5: For the elementary, Mrs. Terry’s class is in the lead for the NHS Food Drive with 29 points, followed by Ms. Magee with 19, and close on their heels is Mrs. Stoykovitch with 18. Keep bringing in your items all week! Thanks for your support! –
The elementary classroom with the most points will win a pizza party!
