*Brethren High School/Middle SchoolKND ElementaryThursday, April 19th, 2018The Cooperative Drama Program’s production of “Disney’s Little Mermaid” will be held Friday, April 27 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, April 28 at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, April 29 at 2 pm in the Onekama School Cafetorium. Ticket prices are $5 for students and $8 for adults and tickets go on sale in each of the school offices on Monday. Tickets will also be available for sale at the door. SPORTS : – Best of Luck to the Soccer team tonight as they travel to FERRIS STATE tonight to vs. BRCCA. Start the season with a “W” ladies!! Varsity Girls Soccer needs to be dismissed from class at 12:45 to get ready. Our Bus LEAVES at 1pm.- Baseball/Softball games are cancelled for today. Softball practuice is first followed by baseball practice tonight- Tomorrow’s HS Track track meet at Buckley is cancelled.- Best of Luck to our Quiz Bowl team as they head down to MSU to compete in State Competition. They face Centreville at 9:45am tomorrow. – Congratulations to Mariah Pringle who has decided to take her athletic talents to Muskegon Community College. Muskegon’s basketball team had a very successful season. Head Coach Amanda Parker was voted the Western Conference Coach of the Year and guided the MCC women to a 22-7 overall record, a final ranking of 18th in the nation, and to the first state championship in the sport at MCC in 27 years. We all know Mariah will only help to improve this achieving team. Best wishes #33!! MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: – Attention all juniors and seniors: Prom tickets go on sale today at lunch in front of the Big B. Tickets cost $20 per person. Sales will last two weeks and that is it. Get your tickets and don’t miss out.- Good luck to Taylor, Whitney, Charlee, Brooklyn, and Kylah as Quiz Bowl travels to Michigan State for the State Finals this weekend! They will be taking on Centreville in the first round, and results can be tracked online at this site!- challonge.com/MHSSQB_2018CD – Attention High Schoolers: Food and trash is being left in the hallways during lunch. The staff provide you with a lot of freedom during your lunchtime, but if the garbage in the halls continues, all food items will have to remain in the cafeteria. Also, if there is not a staff member to supervise the high school gym, then students are not allowed in there. Spilled drinks, caked on food, and trash is being left in the gym during lunch.
