March 6-10 is “National School Breakfast week”. The classroom who has the highest breakfast participation percentage for the whole week will win shamrock shakes!
Daily prizes are also available all week.
PTO Meeting will be held next Monday, March 13th in the Library at the conclusion of the school day.
SPORTS:

It was a tough loss for the varsity boys last night. After losing to Frankfort by 35 earlier in the season, we tied the game up with a little over two minutes left. The GRIT you showed was beyond impressive! We are super proud of your effort! Keep your heads up! –
There will be a mandatory varsity baseball meeting in the library on Friday at 8:10 AM. –
Elementary 4th boys ONLY bball practice tonight. Have rides here by 4:15. –
Lady Bobcats: please turn in your basketball warmups and practice jerseys to Coach Riggs. –
Reminder to all spring athletes. You need to have a physical on file with Mr. Kemler before you can practice. Those of you that do not have one please see Mr. Kemler for a physical card. –
Those that are doing the clay target club- you need to make sure you get registered by March 20th at noon.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

Fridays in March are Hats On days! Bring your dollar ( or 4 quarters, or 10 dimes, etc), and you can wear your hat all day on Friday. Proceeds will go to the 3rd grade Mackinac Island trip. Look for the NHS students by the Big B before school on Friday to buy your sticker. –
Eastern Europe Trip Travelers we will be having a meeting this Friday in the art room. Please make every attempt to attend or contact Mrs. Mobley for the information you will miss if you cannot attend. –
Back by popular demand, NAHS will be sponsoring Cafe Fridays where students in grades 7 thru 12 can purchase hot and cold beverages for $2. We will begin this Friday in the concession stand before school and during breakfast. You may pre-order if you ride a late bus by emailing Cora Scott. –
NAHS meets at lunch today. –
Attention Snowball dance attendees, the Yearbook class is looking for some great group pictures from the night. If you have some that you are willing to share, please send them to Mrs. Mobley at mobleya@manistee.org
