SPORTS:

Volleyball traveled to Grand Traverse Academy Last Night. JV captured the Win by taking the first 2 sets. –
They played a 3rd set just for experience and in a very close match, GTA pulled out the win 16-14. –
The Varsity team battled a hard match against a team that had a very loud student section and fought hard but lost in 4 sets. Heal fast Anna! –
Let’s get our student section to Onekama for tomorrow’s volleyball game and support our team.

JV and Varsity boys basketball meeting will be held today at lunch. –
The sign up for JV and Varsity girls basketball is by Mrs. Riggs’s door. –
The Parent/Athlete informational meeting for this year’s JV & Varsity basketball season for ALL boys and girls will be held in the media center this Sunday, Oct. 29 at noon.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL

“HATS for HEALING” will take place this Friday. Pay $1.00 and wear your hat all day. (NO hoods) This is a K-12 fundraiser –
Here are the details for Friday’s Middle School Dance: –
All middle schoolers (6-8) will dismiss for lunch at 11:50, ALL high schoolers will remain in advisory during this time. –
At 12:10 ALL middle schoolers will head to the big gym for the dance. Mrs. Patterson and Mrs. Beihl will be providing a quiet room for those not wishing to attend. There will be NO costumes and attire is “come as you are”. The dance is free. –
Anyone with a Pura Vida bracelet order in grades 7-12 can give their order form and money directly to Mrs. Veith. Grades K-6 will be picked up daily by members of the Literacy Club. –
No NHS meeting today. See you all next week. –
The Literacy Club will not have a meeting this Friday. –
Attention students, NAHS will be hosting a Costume Contest as part of the Halloween Assembly next Tuesday Oct. 31st. The categories that will be judged are Best Homemade, Best Group Costume (2-4 people), Scariest, Most Creative. In order to be judged you will need to pay a dollar to a NAHS member before the assembly. Members will be at the big B at lunch all this week. The money collected will be used to buy prizes.
