There are two middle school track jerseys missing. Get them back to Ms. Peabody or you will be placed in the 2 mile at the meet tomorrow. –
A quick little shout out to Cadyn Tracy for sticking around the middle school meet last night to help clean up! You made our lives ten times easier. –
Softball – The team ended up winning both games last night. The first game we won 19-7. The second game we won in the bottom of the sixth by a score of 16-15. –
Softball Pitcher and catchers only tonight. –
Very important softball meeting for 8th -11th grade. we will meet tomorrow at 3 pm in the gym. –
The baseball team dropped 2 to Benzie last night. Pitchers Clark and Dean combined for the loss in the 1st game. They registered 6 K’s. Collecting hits were Wojo, Dean, Clark, and Krows. In the 2nd game, Dylan Gladding took the loss. Gladding and Conner Fitzgerald each picked up a hit. –
PRACTICE today after school at the field.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

Literacy Club will meet this Friday in Mrs. Veith’s room during lunch. –
Student council is holding its second blood drive May 17. Interested students ages 16 and up should get in touch with Mr. Amstutz to learn how to donate. –
No NHS meeting tomorrow. We will resume our meetings next week with our new members. –
A bake sale will be held in the High/Middle School, all items will be $1. All proceeds will go to the 5th grade Mackinac Island trip. –
To students attending the field trip to Grand Rapids tomorrow, don’t forget to bring a sack lunch if you did not sign up for one from the kitchen. We will be loading the bus around 8:15 so grab breakfast if you want some and then head to the big B. If you haven’t paid yet, be sure to bring $5 for the entry fee and any money you might want for the gift shop. Any questions, see Mrs. Mobley. We will return around 4pm. –
Big Bear Sportsman’s Club will be holding a Michigan required Field Day for those who have completed the online Hunter Safety Course. You must bring the online completion certificate with you. Date is May 14 from 1PM to 5PM. Sign up for the Field Day at “michican.gov/dnr” and click on Education and Safety.
