SPORTS:

There will be an important meeting for those interested in the skeet shooting club tomorrow during high school lunch. Meeting will take place in Mr. Kemler’s room –
There is a softball sign up sheet for those interested in playing middle school softball. The sheet is across from Mr. Kemlers room. –
Middle School Track sign up is on the office window. The sign up sheet will be taken down on Friday. First practice will be April 5th. –
Money for Softball sweatshirts is due by the end of this week Friday. Give the money to Maddy Hall, Mr. Kemler or Mrs. Wardie. Costs are: $20 for xs -xl, $25 for 2xl and $30 for 3xl. –
Today at 11am Mariah Pringle and the Muskegon CC Jayhawks play Illinois Central game one of the first round of the NJCAA DII Women’s Basketball Championship.
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL:

Congratulations to Jane Amstutz, Maddax Fitzgerald, Kash Peck, Cora Scott and Ashlynn Wardie for representing BHS for the District 1 High School All-Star Band. They spent a full day at Manistee High School yesterday learning new music alongside other high school students from surrounding districts and then ended the evening showcasing what they learned with a concert. You all sounded amazing. –
NHS meeting today during lunch. –
NAHS will meet at lunch on Thursday, Saint Paddy’s day. Brownie points for wearing anything green. –
There will be a meeting Friday in Mrs. Amstutz’s room during lunch to discuss a fundraising opportunity for the Eastern Europe trip. Any students who are ready for the next fundraising opportunity should attend this meeting. If you can’t attend, please check in with Mrs. Amstutz for details. –
Tickets for prom go on sale Monday March 21 during lunch. Please look for your friendly Prom Committee Members in the cafeteira. The theme for this year’s prom is Rustic Romance, and it will be held at Caberfae Ski Resort on Saturday April 23. Tickets for prom cost $20 each and include a dinner of chicken and ribs, garden salad, 2 side dishes (wild rice and something?) a dessert bar and endless soft drink access. We will also have a photobooth, a professional DJ and the option to purchase pictures taken by a professional photographer. You must be a junior or senior to purchase tickets. Each junior or senior may invite one guest. Guests not from our school will need to fill out the usual form which you can get from Mrs. Amstutz. Tickets will be on sale all this week and the first week of April. Please see Mrs. Amstutz, Mrs. Mobley, or a prom committee member if you have any questions. –
Student Council is hosting our first blood drive since 2019 next Tuesday, March 22 from 9am-2pm. Interested donors can click on the QR codes posted around the school. You must be at least 16 years old and have a photo ID or two forms of non-photo ID. More information will be coming soon. See Mr. Amstutz or a student council member with your questions. –
March Madness is here! Fill out a bracket before games start on Thursday and bring it to Mr. Griffin. There are blank brackets on the computer cart in Mr. Griffin’s room. Best bracket gets a 12 pack of pop of their choice. –

Friday is the last day to earn points on late or missing assignments. It is the students responsibility to make arrangements with teachers during their office hours to complete outstanding quizzes or tests. Be Responsible Bobcats!
