The Lakercats fought hard last night. It was a cold and windy game, and the scoreboard was blown in our opponents favor. Keep working hard ladies, you show improvement with each game. –
Congratulations to Elly Sexton on being named to the All-State Honorable Mention Team. This is quite an achievement, especially for a Freshman. Congratulations to Elly and her team! –
Baseball split with Benzie last night. Game 1 saw Skylar on the mound facing 20 batters. He had 11 strikeouts and allowed only the 1 earned run for the 3-1 win. Brady closed, facing 4 batters and earning 3 strikeouts. Hitting for the Bobcats were: Skylar hit 3 singles, Ethan, Connor and Robert (RBI) with a single each. Hunter, Brady and Lucas with 2 hits and Adam with a single and a double (2 RBI). In game two, the Bobcats saw hits from Ethan, Hunter (2) and Charlie. The boys play host to MCE on Thursday, which if Mother Nature takes a rest, will be the Home Opener:) –
The Lady Bobcats earned BCAM’s Academic All-State Team honors with their 3.78 gpa. As a coach, working with players who are not an eligibility question is wonderful!! And while the studies are the responsibility of the athletes to maintain, this is truly a school pride award! Congratulations to ALL!
