2019 Graduation commences today in the High School gym at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:15 pm.

The LakerCats were defeated last night, bringing a close to our season. Ladies we are proud of you! You worked hard this season, and we couldn’t ask for more! –
Congratulations to the Baseball team on their sweep over Pentwater last night, 3-0 and 3-2. The team was exceptional! They are now 14-0 in conference action but still have games with BRCCA and Mesick to play. Hitting in the first game was Skylar three for two, Gavin was 2 for 3 with an RBI, Jalen was 1 for 2 with an RBI and Jake went 1 for 2 with an RBI, All three runs were scored in the top of the 6th inning. In game two the Bobcats trailed 1-2 headed into the bottom of the 6th inning at the top of the order. Skylar and Hunter each hit a single, Jake had a long sac fly to move them. Gavin knocked a single scoring Skylar and tying up the game. Troy Macurio was the celebrated batter screaming a bullet past third base to send Hunter across the plate scoring the winning run in walk-off fashion. Jake and Skylar were the Kings of the Hill. Jake pitched game one facing 21 batter and striking out 16. He allowed one hit. In game two Skylar pitched the first three innings and allowed only one earned run and then the boys shared the mound. In the end Skylar faced 16 batters striking out 4 and Jake face 8 more batters adding 5 more strikeouts on the night. The boys travel to Marion on Tuesday for a District game against Onekama at 4:00. Boys, we’ll be leaving early so make sure to check with your afternoon teachers. –
Middle school track please turn in your washed uniforms to Mr. Kemler today. –
MS/Varsity Cheer Clinic for Fall Sideline Cheer will be held Tuesday 5/28 & Wed. 5/29 from 5-6:30 pm for current 5th-11th grades. No charge & no prior experience needed.

Costa Rica 2019 Trip Participants: Remember, we are having a meeting in Room 136 on Thursday, May 30th at 7pm. We are going over important travel, packing, and expectations information. Please plan to attend. –
Sophomores: Your Crystal Mountain Art Park permission slips are DUE to Mrs. Mobley today, Friday, May 24th. Please dress accordingly on Tuesday, May 28th as we will be hiking trails in the woods. Layers are a necessary element in the hills of Northern Michigan as well. Get excited – it’ll be a great field trip. –
NAHS meets today at lunch.
