Due to all of the snow days, we will have a Prom Planning Meeting TODAY in ROOM 136 during lunch. Please try to attend. There are a couple items that weren’t time sensitive when we began scheduling meetings that are now becoming time sensitive. Thank you, Class of 2020! Oh, and I have a little treat for the committee members who are able to make it on Valentine’s Day. –
Hey, students! With all of the snow days we have had, we are extending our Pennies for Patients Fundraiser through February 28. Our goal is to raise $1000 as a school by that date to earn a reward day in the afternoon on February 28. The grade that brings in the most money gets to choose their activities first. Please help us raise money to support Leukemia and Lymphoma research as well as patients undergoing treatment for these diseases. Bring in your spare change or dollar bills and look for the donation boxes at lunch. Or, feel free to stop into room135 and make your donation in the appropriate box. Thank you for your support. –
Attention Seniors, Mrs. Mobley here. As of this announcement, I have not received a single senior picture. Nope, not one. As the deadline to submit your senior pictures for yearbook is fast approaching on March 1st, this is a friendly reminder to submit those photos asap. You may have your photographer or yourself email a digital copy to mobleya@manistee.org or you may bring in a printed photo that can be scanned and returned. Vertical orientation with primarily head and shoulders are the photos that work best. Besides the yearbook, the senior photos are given to the Manistee News Advocate each year for their senior spotlight. Please make this a priority in the next few weeks. If you have questions or need yearbook to take your photo, please contact me or Brooklyn Cook, yearbook editor, as soon as possible. –
