SPORTS : – Thank you to those individuals that helped last night at the track meet. – MS Track Meet tonight after school.- The Laker Cats play tonight at 7 pm! Hope to see you all there to cheer our girls on into a VICTORY against Big Rapids Crossroads!!- Mr. Kemler is looking for two people who would be willing to be ball chasers at the Soccer game tonight.- The Boys track team placed 3rd last night while the girls took fourth. Placing first for the Bobcats: Boys 4×100: Logan, Diego, Jake and Gavin and 4×400: Nick Kemler, Diego, Jake and Logan, and Logan in the high jump clearing 5’8″. Girls: 400m:Alandria, 3200m – Alexis. 4×100 – Emily, Megan, Meggan and Keisha and the 4×200 – Megan, Meggan, Whitney and Eleni. Placing second: 4×200 – Gavin, Troy, Jake and Hunter Guminey, Alexis in the 1600m and the 4×800 of Alandria, Emily, Alexis and Summer. Lots of PRs were recorded last night! – Baseball and Softball will dismiss at 1:20 today. Games are at BRCCA tonight. – The baseball/softball bus on Saturday will leave the school at 7am. – Sports Pictures are May 8th.- Sports physicals at the school on May 16 starting at 3 pm. The cost is $25. The school gets a portion of the money from the hospital. MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: – Congratulations to our Excellence in Education award winners Kylah Fischer, Charlee Schaefer, and Hunter Wojciechowski, Elks Students of the Month winners Taylor Cordes and Whitney Dean and Elks Lodge winner Whitney Dean. All were honored by the Manistee Community Foundation and the Elks Lodge last evening.- Seniors who have completed their FAFSA will be having a pizza party at lunch next Tuesday.
