Start time is 5pm. Lets fill those stands with Bobcat & Laker Pride and Cheer our Laker Cats into a VICTORY! Go Get Em’ Laker Cats!! – Last night the middle school boys took 2nd overall at the track meet at BRCC! Our first place finishers are: Jake Schuch in the 70, Kenny King in the 100, Lucas Stapley in the 55 hurdles and 200 hurdles, Kenny King, Brandon Scholl, Lucas Stapley, and Jake Schuch in the 4X100 relay, and Noah Bradford in shot put! Great job by all athletes! Your coaches are both proud of you!- Baseball split with Mesick last night winning game one 11-0 off the arm of Jake Riggs. Jake threw a perfect game, facing 15 batters and striking out 13 of them. The Bobcats took a loss, 7-8, in game two. Bases were left loaded three times but the ball just wasn’t put into play. Jake tallied 16 strikes in total last night. Gavin Asiala was earned 6 KO’s in game two. Skylar Wojo earned his first KO on the mound last night coming in as relief. The Bobcats saw strong at bat performances from Gavin, Adrian, Hunter, Jake Skylar and Ian. The boys travel to Bear Lake on Thursday. – Softball won both games vs Walkerville last night, 12-0 and 18-2. Whitney Dean, Kaia and Mariah pitched through game one and in game two it was Pringle cleaning up Walkerville in a 5 innings no-hitter (8KOs) Noteables from the coach were NO ERRORS! Strong bats came from Dean, Danks, Macurio, Richardson, Pringle, Pettinato, Rittenhouse and Pi had a base hit for her first ever at bat! Great season start Ladies! – Boys track meeting at lunch to go over events for tomorrow. Grab your lunch and then come to Mr. Griffin’s room.MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL: – Sophomore NHS candidates–there is an informational meeting tomorrow during lunch. Please get your lunch and come to room 135 as soon as possible. – Juniors and Seniors: Prom tickets are on sale at lunch in front of the Big B through may 2nd. Tickets cost $20 per person. – There will be a fundraising meeting for the Costa Rica Trip in Room 136 this Thursday from 6-7pm.
