The Cooperative Drama Program will be producing "Disney's Little Mermaid" this April.   We are searching for students in grades 4-12 to be actors, actresses, and other backstage hands that will help perform important duties such as:  set building & painting, costume organization, prop building,  set moving and placement, and other minor roles.  Look for information in the near future regarding auditions. In the meantime, you can prepare for auditions by referencing the movie, obsessively watching youtube videos of the musical, or by googling Audition Central: Little Mermaid.  For more information, feel free to email Mrs. Harthun at 

  • Good Luck to the 6-8th grade Lady Bobcats today in their home game vs. BRCCA. 
  • Boys host Manistee Catholic tomorrow night. Girls host MCE on Friday
  • NHS meeting today during lunch. 
  • NAHS we will meet this Friday.  We have lots to plan, please make every effort to attend.  Teachers if you could let NAHS members out of class 2-3 minutes early, it would be very helpful as Friday lunch lines can get a little long.  
  • SENIORS, Did you know that as of tomorrow you are four months away from your last day of school?  Your yearbook staff wants to provide you with your lasting memories of this 2017-18 school year, including featuring you and your beautiful senior portrait.  As the yearbook has deadlines to complete pages by, we need to have your senior pictures turned in before March 1st.  As of this announcement, Mrs. Mobley has received senior photos from Kyle Parker, Mariah Pringle, Brianna Pettinato, Maliyah Saenz, Savannah Foster & Zakiah Racine.  The rest of you need to get your picture in as soon as possible.  You may bring in an actual photo to scan, a CD or thumb drive or you may email a high resolution photo to  No selfies or cell phone photos will be accepted.  You may arrange a senior picture to be taken for a small fee by the yearbook photographers, see Mrs. Mobley for more details.
  • High School Blitz After Party Event January 19th from 9-11:30 pm at Armory Youth Project, 555 1st Street Manistee .  Come for free music, food and door prizes at Armory Youth Project! Win t-shirts or gift cards, shoot hoops, try your hand at dodgeball, ping-pong or pool, or just hang out with friends and our free wi-fi. This is for students grades 9th - 12th. No cost for this event.
  • Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest for boys and girls 8 -14 will be held at the Manistee Catholic gym on Sunday, Jan. 21st with registration starting at 1 pm and competition at 2 pm.
