Attention all 6 - 12 grade classes!  Next week is the National Honor Society's annual fund raiser for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society--Pennies for Patients!  Each year we make this into a fun competition between classes.  This year the first hour classes will be competing.  The first hour class that raises the most money will win a PIZZA PARTY!!  But every penny counts, so those classes that raise at least $100 toward our cause will also receive a  treat for their efforts.  Last year we raised a record breaking $1,208.00.  Our goal for this year is $1300.  So. bring in your spare change, dollars, or checks to your first hour class starting Monday, February 11.  We will collect money each day next week, wrapping up our collection on Friday February 15.  Please help us support this great charity!
Found:  A connector plug that belongs to an ipod, cell phone or computer.  If it is yours, claim in the office.
The Middle School/High School honor roll for 2nd quarter is posted outside the office.  It will be sent to the News Advocate on Friday, so please check it out for any corrections or additions.  Thanks!
High School Students:  If you plan on bringing someone to the Snowball Dance on Feb 16th that is not a Brethren student, you can pick up a guest form from Mr. Amstutz
Auditions for the Three District Musical will be Feb. 11th @ Bear Lake at 6:00 pm., Feb. 12th @ Brethren at 6:00 pm., and Feb. 13th @ Onekama at 6:00 pm.  The show this year is "Bye, Bye Birdie."  Any student in grades 4th through 12th are welcome to audition at any of the three schools.  The play will be put on about the middle of April.  The show will be presented at either Brethren or Onekama.  If you have any questions, ask Ms. Karnisz.
Wanted:  Volleyballs to be given to our April 2013 - Blue Zoo elementary volleyball camp participants.  We are looking for new or used volleyballs to give away to our participants so that they can practice their skills at home.  Please send your donated volleyball to room 120 (Coach Cunningham).  If you have a special memory or motivational story related to volleyball and could write it down for us, we will read it to the BLUE ZOO participants on the day we distribute them.  Thank you for your support of Bobcat Volleyball - Coach Eddy
