  • Senior Night tonight for the volleyball girls.  Come out and honor Mariah, Brianna and Whitney as they play their last game on the Brethren court!  
  • Elem girls basketball practice tonight after school until 4:45
  • Saturday the elem. girls kick off their basketball season here at Brethren.  Game times are as follows: 
  • 5th grade: 9am, 9:30, 11:30, and 12:30, 3/4th gr: 10:30, 11:00 and 12:00 
  • Girls JV and Varsity Basketball practice starts on Nov. 6th.  Make sure all physicals are on file in the office. 
  • 7-12 grade football players. Equipment turn in is tonight, right after school.  
  • Thank you to Whitney, Heidi, Charlee and Jake for representing the Bobcats at Traverse City Central in last night's quiz bowl competition.  
  • MS student council members that signed up to bring in props need to turn those into Mrs. Riggs asap. 
  • Great job, Bobcats!  Yesterday we more than doubled our collection of items for the food pantry!  Here are the latest standings:  Mr. Amstutz is in the lead with 176 points!  He is followed closely by the 6th grade with 145 points.  We can not overlook 3rd and 4th places who are also very close with Mrs. Mobley's class at 136 and Mrs. Riggs at 132.  Mrs. Edmonson has 67 points, and Mr. Kemler has 51.  Contributing, but trailing are Mr. Knoll with 36.5 points, Mrs. Amstutz with 21 and Ms. Karnisz with 8 points. I would be great to have participation from each class.  We have two more days--let's make them count!  Thanks everybody for all you have done so far! 
  • GVSU rep will be here October 31st@ 1:15 and Oakland will be here November 1st @ 2:00 
  • Happy 16th Birthday to Caleb Franz  from Rhiannon, her mom and all of his friends.
  • Jostens will be here Friday, October 27, during lunch, for Class Ring and 2018 Graduation orders.
  • Mobile Dentist will be here Nov. 1st & 2nd.  Forms are available in the office.
  • The last day for late and make-up work for the first marking period is this Friday, October 27th.
  • There will be a Write Nite in Mrs. Edmondson's Room 136 this Thursday (after school from 3:15-4pm).
  • High School Yearbooks are on sale all this week for the lowest price of the year and this includes up to four FREE ICONS with the purchase of personalization.  The sale ends this Friday.  After that you can still purchase your book for $37.50 until Dec. 1st, but you will have to pay for your icons.

  • 9 Volt Battery Challenge Participation Percentages - As of Thursday morning, 1st grade is still leading with 25%, followed by 2nd and 4th both with 18%
