SPORTS:
  • Girls soccer defeated BRCCA on Senior night 5-0. Way to go BOBCATS!
  • Congrats to the baseball boys.  They split last night with Frankfort winning in game one in extra innings, 4-3 with a walk-off hit over the left fielder's head!  Josh pitched 18 strike outs and only allowed 1 earned run.   That was a great team win! Go Bobcats!
  • Tuesday is the last regular softball and baseball game.  Bobcats host Suttons Bay.  The senior boys will be recognized between games so make plans to come on out and cheer on the Bobcats!
  • Track uniforms....turn them in kids!
  • State track finalists must be at track practice today.  The newspaper should be here at 3:30 to take a group photo so please bring your uniform.
  • The middle school baseball team will practice tomorrow right after school until 3:30. Please let your rides know.
HIGH SCHOOL:
  • Graduation is tomorrow night at 6:30.

  • Attention all MS/HS students.  With the hot weather we are experiencing, please remember that we do have a dress code.  Shorts and skirts need to be below your fingertips with your shoulders relaxed, not hunched.  Tank tops cannot be cut low on the sides and need to be wide at the shoulders to cover straps beneath.  Finally, no sheer or see through materials should be worn.  Please avoid hassles and check yourself before you get to school.  Thanks so much.
  • Next week, there will be a pop can and bottle drive competition during our 3rd Hour class periods. Each class will receive a box, and we will begin collecting as of Tuesday, May 31st. Representatives will collect, count, and record class progress. The winning class will get an ice cream party.
  • Last chance to buy and pay off your Yearbook! Yearbooks will be sold this week at lunch.
  • Attention all students! The yearbook staff is sponsoring a student selfie contest. Selfie's must contain more than one individual from Brethren and must have been taken during the 2015-2016 school year. All entries must be submitted to Mrs. Mobley at mobleya@manistee.org by Friday June 3rd
  • Now seeking yearbook staff for the 2016-2017 school year.  Please see Mrs. Mobley.
