NO SEEDS TODAY FOR ELEMENTARY OR MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL
SPORTS:
  • Congratulations to the Softball team on their games last night.  The Ladies spilt with Onekama, winning by one and then losing by one.  It was exciting to watch!
  • The boys dropped both games to the Portagers last night.
  • Baseball & Softball travel to Buckley tonight.
  • Congratulations to Stella who was in Traverse City last night for her first horse show of the season.  Stella competed in the 15 year old bracket and earned two firsts and one second.  This was her horse, Yankee, first show ever and they did amazing together!
  • Reminder: JV and Varsity boys basketball players, camp forms are due next Tuesday!!! If you don't have a form, come see coach Randall.
HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL:
NO SEEDS TODAY FOR ELEMENTARY OR MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL
  • Mr. Veith tried to let it slide by but Facebook gave it away; Happy Birthday yesterday Mr. Veith!
  • Move Up Day Madness has two guaranteed events:  Mr. Griffin and Mr. Knoll will be wrestling (with special guest CJ Wayward) and Mr. MacNeil and Mr. Randall will be dressing up like ladies!
  • We have until 8:10 tomorrow morning to fill the rest of the boxes.  Here are the current standings:
  • Mr. Kemler $25.93, Mrs. Amstutz $15.15, Mr. Amstutz $14.28, Frau $11.30, and Mr. Veith $5
  • Remember, all of the money we raise goes to help Jessica Harbaugh. Be assured, each box must reach the goal before that staff member is going to perform.  So, take back your bottles, clean out the cushions of your couch, give up that soda pop for one day and help support Move Up Day Madness!
  • Coach Riggs received the invitation yesterday for the next year's Quiz Bowl team to compete in the 13 annual Quiz Central Tourney hosted by CMU.  Our competition day is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 1st.
  • Seniors, please remember to take care of book fines, damage fines or lunch charges before you leave tomorrow.
  • 8th through 11th graders interested in running for class office or student council next year need to pick up a nomination form from Mr. Amstutz and return it to him by this Friday, May 19th.
  • Today, the Senior Mentors will host a pizza with their elementary mentees during p.3.  This has been a wonderful experience for both the seniors as well as elem. kids.  Thank you Seniors for being compassionate role models.
  • Wellston Library is accepting applications for a library page- 7 hours per week.  Stop by the library this Thursday or Friday 10:30 - 5 to inquire within and fill out an application.
