KND Elementary

ALL SCHOOL:
The France/Italy participants are holding a spaghetti dinner this Saturday, April 18th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the
Wellston Community Center.  There will be a full dinner provided, as well as a 50/50 raffle and a bucket auction.
Please come support these students who are expanding their educational experience by taking part in this trip.

The MS track team will host one home meet this year on Monday, April 27th @ 4:00 p.m.  Plan ahead and schedule
the date to volunteer working.  (NHS kids:  this is a great service to earn hours).  Home varsity track meets to schedule
volunteer workers are:  April 22, May 1, 6, 16 and 21.  Contact Mrs. Riggs, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Kemler or Mr. Walker if
you would like to commit to a date.

Manistee Little League registration is now open.  Ages 7 - 16 can register for summer baseball and softball.  This is
NOT the MRA.  If you have any questions or need a form, please contact Mrs. Riggs or call 729-1251.  Registration will
close April 17th.

Sports "weekly" Updates:
Thursday:  Soccer will travel to Traverse City -Baseball/softball  will travel to Mesick 
Friday: Track/Field will travel to MCE
Saturday:  Baseball/softball will travel to Marion

High School:
The soccer team will need to dismiss at 3:00 p.m. today.  The bus will pull away @ 3:15

The prom boutique will be open on Saturday 10:00 - 1:00 and next Thursday 3:30 - 6:00

There is still time to sign up to be a part of the fall cheer squad.  Sign-up sheet is in the office.

Your HS quiz bowl team will travel to MSU for competition on Friday and Saturday.  When you see one of these kids wish them
the best.  Jessica Cordes, Taylor Cordes, Pauline Wurdinger, Helene Bergen, Sarah Wayward, Mary Voorhees, Whitney Dean and
captain John Schaefer!

For France/Italy participants you should be at the Wellston Community Center for food prep about 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

9th - 11th grade ladies interested in playing volleyball for the 2015 season.  We will have a meeting during breakfast in the Big B Friday, 
April 17th.  It is imperative that you attend this meeting in order to get the information  you need to be an active team member
and participant.  For those who go to CTC, please find me Thursday or Friday to receive your information.  Thank You!

9th - 11th grade girls - there is an open gym this Sunday, April 19th from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.  This is a great opportunity to brush the dust off 
those volleyball skills before attending summer camps and August try-outs.  And remember, "Champions are made, not born."
