Honor roll has been posted outside the office door for MS/HS students.  Please check the list for any corrections before it is sent to the News Advocate on Friday.

Spring pictures will be taken on Thursday, April 18th for all students in grade Kdg. -12th grade.  Flyers will be sent home to students in elementary and middle school.  If any high school students are interested, please pick up a form in the office.  Only students who return forms and money will have their picture taken.

Spring sports pictures will be taken on Tuesday, April 16th for all students participating in spring sports.  Pictures will start @ 2:30 pm.


HS students - SEEDS will start holding gopen gym on Sundays from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, starting this Sunday!  You must be signed up with SEEDS to participate.  Talk to Ben if you have any questions.

Katye Broughton - please report to the office today to pick up an item.

FINAL deadline for after prom sign-up is tomorrow, April 12th.  Sheets are on the concession stand door by the Big B. 

Baseball practice today @ 5:30 pm.

ALL boys who are playing baseball or golf and plan on running track, you must let coach Walker know what event you want to run as well as which meets you will be attending.  I haven't heard from any of you yet and unless I do, you will not be entered in any events.

There will be a football meeting for students interested in participating next fall.  This meeting will be held tomorrow, April 12th during lunch. 

Seniors:  Please submit a senior photo to Mr. Taylor by May 1st if you do not want your lifetouch school photo to represent you in the yearbook.  On the back of your submitted photo, please clearly print your name with its proper spelling.  Wallet size photos are fine, as are larger copies.  Submitting by May 1st will also allow the photo to be returned to you before graduation.  Thanks a lot!

Seniors: There are extra announcements if anyone needs a few more.
HS students:  If you are interested in playing sports NEXT FALL, you need to keep in mind that you MUST pass a minimum of 4 classes this semester in order to be eligible to play in the fall. Any questions, talk to Mr. Kemler or Peggy.
8th grade students interested in participating in football next fall will need to attend a meeting on Friday, April 12th during high school lunch.  You will be dismissed from class to attend.

There will be a 2 mile "Walk for Child Abuse Prevention" on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. This will be held at the Manistee county Child Advocacy Center, 525 Michael Street.  Entry fee is $20.00 (children are free).  To register please call 231-398-9044 or email
