ALL SCHOOL:
Paint the Town Pink event is Thursday at 5 PM in Manistee.  There is no registration fee to walk, but donations are welcome.   The money is used for breast cancer research.  If you are free, it is a great time.  See Carol Rackow for questions.

High School: 

Quiz Bowl practice today during lunch in Mrs. Riggs's room during HS lunch.  If you can dismiss 5min. early to get your lunch and be on time that would be grand! 

Girls in grades 7-12: the open gym on Friday mornings is open to you too:) 

There will be a Girls' Basketball meeting on Friday during HS lunch in Mrs. Riggs's room.  Bring your lunch ladies. 

Attention all High School students, the 2016 yearbooks will be on sale beginning next week.  During the fall sales campaign, students can get up to four free icons with the purchase of personalization.  Yearbook staff will be available at lunch all next week to take your orders.  The price is $37.50 and checks can be made payable to BHS Yearbook.  Don't have the full purchase price, you may reserve your yearbook by making a downpayment of $5 or more. 

NAHS, mark your calendars, our induction ceremonuy will be held on Thu. Oct 29 at 6:30 p.m.  


NAHS we will meet at lunch on Tue. Oct 13 (run thu/fri/mon.) to vote on officers.  Membership is posted on the NAHS bulletin board in the hallway off the big gym.

MTSS Student groups will have their first meeting at lunch on Monday.  HS will meet in Mrs. Mobley's room.  MS will meet in Mrs. Riggs room.  No lunch needed, we will provide it for you.

Seniors and afternoon Teachers of Seniors:  Jostens will be here on Oct. 27th to hand out graduation order packets.  We need to be deciding on Class: Flower, Song, Motto, etc.  Start Thinking!!

Attention: Juniors and seniors interested in taking college classes for next semester, please see Ms. Bennett in the counseling office as soon as possible. 

There will be a College Fair at Cadillac High School on October 15th, 6:30 - 8. All Michigan colleges and some out-of-State schools will be there, as well as all branches of the military. This is a great chance to learn about many different schools you might be interested in. This is for all high school students! 

Please make sure you sign up for college visits in Ms. Bennett's office. The University of Michigan will be here on October 12th and Eastern Michigan University on October 14th. Alma College will be here on October 15th. Please sign up before the day of the event! 

France and Italy Trip Participants (or those who may still be on the cusp of going): We are going to hold our first meeting of the year in Room 136, Friday during lunch. There will be a presentation by Mrs. Edmondson regarding one of the places we will see on our trip, discussion regarding possible topic areas, and food to snack on (biscotti). Come with questions, if you have them. See you Friday!

Middle School
Any girl wishing to play 7th or 8th grade basketball must have a physical on file in the office.  Please sign the clip board outside of Mrs. Riggs's room. 

Elementary:
Blue Zoo Soccer:  All Saturday games start at 10 am with practice at 9 AM
Lunch Elementary:
1st choice:Chicken N Waffles, Steamed  Broccoli, Fresh Fruit
2nd choice:  PB & J Sandwich, Cheese Stick, Animal Crackers  & milk
