SPORTS:
  • Congratulations to the Boys Track team on their Regional Finishes: 
    Placing first and going to State is Josh Riggs in the High Jump and Discus. 
    3rd: Josh - Shot Put
    6th: 800m Relay - Joe Tighe, Kameren Danks, Devyn Holbrook and John Schaefer
    7th: 1600m Relay - Nick Kemler, Dustin Cilman, Joe, Logan Tighe
    8th: 3200m Relay - Nick Goble, Nick, Dustin and Logan / 400m Relay - Kam, Joe, Devyn and John and Shot Put - Kameren Danks.  
    And Noah Kemler PR'd in the discus:)  
    As a team we finished 6th overall out of 13 teams. Super season fellas! 

    Congratulations to the Girls Track team on their Regional Finishes: 
    Placing First, Second and meeting qualifying time for State are: Naomi Mason- 1st, Megan Wayward and Whitney Dean - tied 2nd in the High Jump, Taytum Myers, 2nd in Shot, Keisha Picklesimer in 100m dash, and Megan 2nd in the 400m dash. Awesome job ladies!  As a team they placed 5th overall out of 13 teams. 

    Thank you to all who volunteered Saturday to make Regionals a huge success!

    Track uniforms need to be turned in to Coach Riggs please.  Unwashed is fine b/c she will wash them all anyhow:) 
  • Baseball, Softball host Mesick tonight (4:30)  and Soccer plays host to Suttons Bay (5:00). 
HIGH SCHOOL:
  • Robotics Announcement:  Anyone interested in Robotics needs to contact Mrs. King by the end of the week.
  • NHS meeting this Wednesday for all members, current and new.  If you want to run for an office, this will be the meeting during which we will make nominations.  
  • A CD copy of senior awards and graduation can be ordered from Mrs. Riggs for $10.  
  • Any students grades 8-11 that wish to run for Class Officer or represent their class on Student Council, need to pick up a nomination form from Mr. Amstutz and have it returned by the end of the this week.  Each class needs a president and vice president, a secretary and treasurer as well as three representatives on student council.  See Mr. Amstutz is you have any questions.  
  • Are you a student who likes talking and being the center of attention and will be a sophomore, junior or senior next year?  There will be auditions next week for finding the top one or two people to be the official student reader of announcements for the rest of this year and all of next year.  Try outs will take place next Thursday at lunch.  Please sign up on the sheet outside Mr. Knoll's door if you plan on trying out.  Speak with him if you think you need a different tryout day.   
  • Choir meets every Wed 7:30 am and Fri lunch in the band room.
HS/MS Lunch:
  • 1st Choice: Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza, Green Beans
  • 2nd Choice: Roasted Tomato Soup, Bosco Sticks
MIDDLE SCHOOL:
  • Middle School track athletes, don't forget to turn your uniforms in! I've yet to get a uniform from Anthony Lopez, Eric Grismore, Gavin Sanderson, Justin Kissling, Kaia Richardson, Kara Cone, and Keira Hough.
