All School:

Ramsdell Theater is putting on Mel Brook's  Young Frankenstein this weekend and Halloween weekend. Fri-Sat @ 7:30, Sun @ 2:00 p.m. Jackie Karnisz is directing this play.  It is suppose to be hilarious!  You won't want to miss it.


  • Varsity Volleyball Practice today 3:30-5:15 PM.  make it if you can.
  • Sat  XC Manistee Invite at the Golf Course
  • Pop Warner football plays their final games of the season here on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am.
  • MS and HS Competitive Cheer sign up sheets are in the office.  Season starts Nov 9th.
  • Online Bobcat store. Sweet deals. Flyer is on table next to room 133.
  • 5th and 6th grade girls' basketball is in need of coaches.  If you are interested in volunteering for the month of November please contact Mrs. Riggs asap! 
High School:
  • Happy Mole Day  10/23!! from Mr. Amstutz
  • France & Italy Trip meeting will be today in room 136 during HS lunch.
  • Student Council Meeting today during Lunch.  There will be Pizza.
  • Tricks for Treats Halloween Assembly next Friday at 12:50
  • Seniors! Please check your school email to get information regarding a college trip we will be taking on October 29th to Grand Valley State University and Ferris State University. You must fill out a form in order to do the FSU tour, which will be attached to your email. 
  • Staff and Students: The week of Oct. 25-October 29 is College Week for our seniors! Our students will be filling out college applications during that week...we are looking to get 100% of our senior class to apply. There will be activities throughout the week and also, a drawing for an iPad mini! 
  • The Vogue Theater will be showing the documentary “First Generation” next Wednesday, October 28th at 6:30 p.m. with a panel discussion immediately after the movie. First Generation tells the story of 4 high school students who are looking to be the first in their families to attend college. 
  • Attention Senior Class!  If you would like to save money out of your pocket for your cap & gown or Senior Trip, help your class work the Haunted Forest of Crystal Mountain Friday and Saturday Oct 23rd, 24th, & 30th from 7-10 pm.  There is a sign up sheet outside Mrs. Riggs' room that needs to be filled by Thur @ 2:30.  If you have any questions, ask Sheldin or Aspen. We will be carpooling to Crystal Mountain.  Meet at the school by 6 pm.
      • Change in NAHS induction date, due to a scheduling conflict, our NAHS induction ceremony will be Mon., Oct 26 at 7 p.m.
      • NHS is putting on an emergency care kit drive.  These kits will go towards our school for families in need.  Each item is worth a certain amount of points:  diapers, canned goods, school supplies, books clothing, coloring books, and stuffed animals.  The class that brings in the most items/the highest amount of points will receive an exclusive prize of cider and doughnuts!  This event is happening now until Nov. 6th.

      Lunch HS/MS:

      • 1st choice: Garlic Cheese Flatbread, marinara Sauce, Green Beans, Fruit
      • 2nd choice: Yogurt Parfait, Nut Free Granola

      Middle School:

      • Middle school basketball practice begins Tuesday. Physical forms need to be turned in!
      • Middle School football players will be meeting at the field house to turn in equipment on Monday 10/26


      • Blue Zoo Soccer:  Saturday games start at 1 pm.

      Lunch Elementary:

      • 1st choice: Garlic Cheese Flatbread, marinara Sauce, Green Beans, Fruit
      • 2nd choice: PB & J Sandwich, Animal Crackers, Cheese Stick
