All School:

Congratulations to Mike and Melissa Phillips (aka Ms. Baker) on the arrival of their son, River James Phillips.
8 lbs. 12 oz, 20.5 inches.  Born at 7:02 pm last night.  Everyone is healthy and doing fine.

HS/MS students:  There has been confusion on whether or not students may receive "doubles" on food items
for lunch.  Under the Healthy Hunger Free Kid Act, school meals are based on calorie content.  Students
are not allowed to receive "doubles" on any food item their first time through the lunch line.  Students may,
after everyone has been served their first meal, purchase any food item as an ala carte item.  However, the
student must first ask permission of the cashier to make sure the student either has money in their account
or they have cash to pay for the item.  Please refer to the student handbook, pages 20 & 21.  If you have
any questions, please contact Mrs. Momber, Food Service Director, in the superintendents office.
High School:
Girls varsity need to be in coach's room at 4:00 dressed in the white uniform.

ALL wreath orders MUST be turned in today.  Ladies, if you have not done this see Coach Riggs

Blue Zoo Basketball tonight..... Play hard..... Have Fun!

Attention students:  The yearbook needs good photos of volleyball and the homecoming football game
and dance.  If you have appropriate pictures to share, you can either save them on a thumb drive and bring
them to Mrs. Mobley or you can upload them yourselves to (you will need to sign up an
account) by selecting Brethren High School.  Your yearbook thanks you!

NAHS students, please make sure to turn in your fundraising sheets to me on today.  I need to make
sure we have enough baking supplies.  Also, please let me know if you plan on baking Sunday.  We will be
assembling in the kitchen from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. on Sunday, November 24th.  YES!! It is this Sunday!

All NAHS students - we are creating an "art tree" for the festival of trees.  If you are interested in helping
or making an artwork ornament or two, please see Mrs. Mobley, Kaelee or Ailie for details.

All students:  Quarter one honor roll is posted on the "student news" bulletin board above the drinking
fountain.  Honor roll will be sent to the paper tomorrow so please check to make sure you are on there if
you should be.

Seniors:  When you get your fantastic movie star senior pictures taken, don't forget to bring one of your
favorite wallets to Mrs. Mobley for the yearbook.  The sooner you get this taken care of, the better.
