SPORTS: 
  • HS track invitational today after school.  Students interested in helping today, please stop by Mr. Kemler's room.
  • Baseball swept Baldwin last night, 13-3 and 10-2.  They travel to Manton tomorrow for the wooden bat tourney where they will face Manton, White Cloud and Frankfort.  First game is at 9am
  • Softball travels to glorious Elk Rapids for a tournament tomorrow.
  • Soccer plays here tomorrow.  Good luck to all our athletes in the next few days
  • Girls were not victorious according to the score board, but the girls showed great improvement, and great sportsmanship. The fell to Gladwin 2-1, compared to the first time we played them 6-0. Taylor scored her first goal of the season! Way to go girls. Keep your heads up, because you played great!
HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL:
  • Congratulations to Taylor, Jaden, Nick, Mary and John on their academic achievements.  They were honored last night at the annual Elks banquet along with their mentors, Mr. Knoll, Mr. Griffin and Ms. Bennett.  Not only was Brethren represented by these fine scholars but John Schaefer was awarded the Student of the Year award.  Congratulations John!  
  • The LAST Prom Boutique of the season will be OPEN this Saturday May 6th from 10-12:30
  • THANK YOU, thank you, thank you to the Bobcat Ambassadors who traveled to Reed City yesterday.  Your enthusiasm, attention and politeness were stellar.  Next Wed. during lunch we will meet to discuss the event. 
  • HS Band has a Mother's Day Flower Sale with Bouquets $10, Potted Pansy $5, Prom Corsage $15, and Prom Boutonniere $10.  Payment due when ordering.
  • The yearbook staff is going to be selling yearbooks at 42.50 during lunch every day this week. You can put a 5 dollar down payment and continue paying. Once paid in full you may receive your book. Buy your yearbooks! 
  • If you are planning to join the 2018 Germany, Italy, and Switzerland Trip, remember to sign up by the end of the day of Friday, May 5th. This will secure one of the 15 spots that are available for our group. If you have questions, ask Mrs. Edmondson. 
  • There will be no Math Club this coming Monday.
