Staff and students....April is "Autism Awareness Month".  We will be ordering t-shirts to wear to show our Bobcat 
support.  Shirts are only $8.00 and forms are available in the office.  You must have your form and money to the 
office by the 15th to get your awesome shirt.  Thanks!!

The MS track team will host one home meet this year on Monday, April 27th @ 4:00 p.m.  Plan ahead and schedule
the date to volunteer working.  (NHS kids:  this is a great service to earn hours).  Home varsity track meets to schedule
volunteer workers are:  April 22, May 1, 6, 16 and 21.  Contact Mrs. Riggs, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Kemler or Mr. Walker if
you would like to commit to a date.

Manistee Little League registration is now open.  Ages 7 - 16 can register for summer baseball and softball.  This is
NOT the MRA.  If you have any questions or need a form, please contact Mrs. Riggs or call 729-1251.  Registration will
close April 17th.

Spring pictures will be taken on Thursday, April 16th.  This is an opportunity for ALL students grade K - 12 to get them
taken,  YOU must have form and money that morning in order to have your picture done.

Sports "weekly" Updates:
Varsity Track/Field will travel to Onekama today - bus pick-up time is 12:30

Baseball/Softball travels to Kingsley on Saturday - bus pick-up time is 9:00 a.m.

High School:
So far it seems the Sodabriety challenge is off to a good start!  Keep logging your beverage intake and if you can, reduce your
sugary beverage intake even more.  Drink more water!!  Be healthy, be a BOBCAT!

Congratulations to Jessica Cordes and Kiowa Luzier for receiving the "Academic All State" award.  Jessica received 1st team and
Kiowa received Honorable mention.  Awesome job ladies!!

If you received an invitation to apply to National Honor Society, please be sure to attend today's informational meeting during
lunch in room 135.  If you can not attend, please see Mrs. Amstutz beforehand, otherwise I will assume you are not interested.

Students:  If you were planning on participating in Drivers ED next week, please make sure you call the number on the poster.  At
this time we are not sure the class will be held..  However, there will definitely be a class held in May.  More information to follow.

The basketball banquet for the JV/V girls will be held this Sunday in the cafeteria beginning at 4:00 p.m.  Please bring a dish to pass
and your own table service.  Coffee will be provided.

The juniors will begin selling PROM tickets next Tuesday.  Prom is in FOUR quick weeks!!  Pricing to be announced on Monday.

Girls -- we have two volleyball open gyms quickly approaching.  This Sunday, April 12th and the following Sunday, April 19th from
7:00 - 8:30 p.m.  Come ready to play some quality volleyball.

Students going on the France/Italy trip, we are having a lunch meeting today in room 136.  Please get your lunch quickly and 
attend; we are going over some of the upcoming fundraiser information.

The Masquerade ball (dance) is tomorrow from 8:00 - 11:00 pm for all high school students.  Remember, this is a semi-formal
dance with pricing $5 for singles; $8 for couples and we will collect at the door.  If you are bringing an outside guest, please complete
a form and turn it in by this Thursday..  There is a music request form on Mrs. Eddy's classroom door (room 136).  Please make song
requests by the end of the school day this Thursday.  There will be pictures available for $5.00 during the night . ALSO..... there will be a 
king and queen of the ball crowned, as well as, a best mask award.  Come ready to dance and have fun!  See everyone Saturday!!

Boys JV and Varsity basketball players have their banquet this Sunday April 12 at 6:00 pm!!  See you there!  Coach Wojo/Coach Sexton.
